Simone Biles can plan for her third Olympic Games. The 27-year-old won the all-around competition with 58.650 points at the US Trials in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Saturday night.
Simone Biles, winner of 37 world championship and Olympic medals, returned to competition in August 2023 after a two-year break. She had collapsed at the Games in Tokyo and abandoned several competitions as she was plagued by "twisties" (loss of spatial orientation).
The second part of the competition with the apparatus finals will follow on Monday night.
