The Canadian Cameron Alexander has to take a long break. The injury to his left knee, which he suffered in a fall during the second training session for the World Championship downhill in Saalbach, has turned out to be a torn cruciate ligament.
The 27-year-old Cameron has already had the necessary operation. This winter he has finished on the podium in two World Cup downhill races. In Bormio shortly before the turn of the year and in Kitzbühel just before the season highlight, he finished in 3rd place.
