After 22 months away due to injury, Jasmine Flury, the 2023 downhill world champion, can make her comeback this weekend in St. Moritz.

In February 2024, the 32-year-old from Graubünden suffered cartilage damage in her knee.

The winner of two World Cup races to date has suffered repeated setbacks, but is now ready to race again. Flury is in the line-up for the women's speed season opener with two downhill races (Friday and Saturday) and a super-G (Sunday) in St. Moritz. It has not yet been decided which races she will take part in.

Almost exactly eight years ago, she celebrated her first World Cup victory in a super-G in the Engadin.
