0 - Austria did not win a gold medal at the 2023 World Championships in Courchevel and Méribel, with the hosts of this year's championships securing a total of seven top 3 finishes (three silver, four bronze).

1 - Two years ago, Switzerland occupied this position in the medal table of the World Championships in Courchevel and Méribel. Marco Odermatt (downhill and giant slalom) and Jasmine Flury (downhill) won three gold medals. There was also silver for Wendy Holdener (combined and parallel), Loïc Meillard (giant slalom) and bronze for Corinne Suter (downhill).

6 - Mikaela Shiffrin has won at least one title at six World Championships in a row - starting in Schladming in 2013. With seven gold, four silver and three bronze medals, the American is the second most successful female skier in the history of the World Championships.
