The downhill skiers will have to be patient with their first run on the course at the World Cup finals in Sun Valley. The first training sessions scheduled for Thursday have been canceled.

According to the FIS World Federation, some work was necessary on the "Challenger" slope on Bald Mountain after "heavy snowfall". The first races at the World Cup finals in the state of Idaho are scheduled for Saturday with the men's and women's downhill.
