The skier from Appenzell thus successfully defended second place in the discipline rankings behind the superior Austrian Nadine Fest and secured herself a permanent starting place in the World Cup Super-G next winter.
Janine Schmitt, who also still had a chance of one of the top three places in the discipline rankings, was eliminated. The skier from Sargans remained in fourth place, six points behind third-placed Italian Sara Allemand.
