Ricarda Haaser will be at the start of the World Cup giant slalom on Saturday in Semmering. Haaser suffered a cruciate ligament and inner meniscus tear in her right knee during the World Championship Super-G in Saalbach in February. The 32-year-old Tyrolean all-rounder decided to forgo her planned comeback at the speed events in St. Moritz and Val d'Isère and will now return to her home race.

Lisa Hörhager, on the other hand, will not be taking part. The 24-year-old Tyrolean suffered a torn syndesmosis ligament in her left ankle during slalom training in St. Michael and will have to take a break for the time being.
