As in the previous year, the Norwegians dominate the slalom in Wengen. Atle Lie McGrath wins ahead of Lucas Pinheiro Braathen and Henrik Kristoffersen. Loïc Meillard just misses out on the podium in fourth place.

In 2025, Norway celebrated a triple victory, this time the Vikings also took all the podium places, with second-placed Pinheiro Braathen taking this one for Brazil, his mother's home country.

McGrath confidently brought his comfortable four-tenths half-time lead to the finish and celebrated his second triumph in Wengen after last year's victory. Pinheiro Braathen stood on the podium in Wengen for the second time after triumphing in the Bernese Oberland in 2022 - back then still for Norway. Kristoffersen broke the mark of 100 podium places in the World Cup with third place, putting him on a par with Marc Girardelli.

Loïc Meillard finished 49 hundredths behind Kristoffersen in 4th place, losing two places in the decision and missing out on his third top 3 finish in the slalom this winter. Matthias Iten set another exclamation mark. The 26-year-old from Zug confirmed his great form, making up 17 places in the decision with the best run time and finishing in 6th place. Iten thus not only achieved his best career result, but also fulfilled the selection criteria for the Olympic Games.

Daniel Yule narrowly missed out on these in the form of two top 15 finishes after 11th place in Gurgl. In 18th place in Wengen, the Valais skier was just eight hundredths off the pace.
