Sue Piller celebrates her first victory at European Cup level in Sestriere.
The 20-year-old from Fribourg, sixth after the first run, won the giant slalom with a tenth of a second ahead of Sweden's Hilma Lövblom.
Piller made her World Cup debut in Sestriere in February 2025. At the beginning of December in Tremblant, she secured her first points at the top level in 20th place, and the following day she finished 28th in the Canadian ski resort.
Most recently, the up-and-coming Piller finished 20th in the giant slalom in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, a week ago.
