The 26-year-old from Fribourg and the Bernese Oberlander, who is one year younger, received the award at the Swiss-Ski gala in Zurich-Oerlikon. They were chosen by a jury of experts.
Von Allmen was the defining figure in the alpine ski racing camp last winter with his three Olympic gold medals in the downhill, super-G and team combined at the season's highlight. The freestyle skier Gremaud impressively repeated her Olympic victory from four years ago in slopestyle in northern Italy.
"It's incredible what Swiss-Ski has achieved this season. Not just in the alpine, but also in the other disciplines," says von Allmen in an interview with blue Sport. "Everyone who was here absolutely deserved this award. I am grateful that I was able to win it with my team."
