The Czech defenseman David Sklenicka has convinced the EV Zug management. Having only joined the team in the summer, he has already received a contract extension until the spring of 2028.
Sklenicka, who previously played his first season in the National League with Lausanne, caused a sensation with his hat-trick against Fribourg-Gottéron in mid-September. With an average of 23:22 minutes, the 29-year-old also has the most ice time with the Zug team.
Sklenicka has played in four world championships with the Czech national team and at the Olympic Games in Beijing three years ago.
