The group of players from the National League for the ice hockey tournament at the Olympic Games in Milan is growing. Three Czechs and one Latvian are also taking part.
The Czech squad includes forwards Matej Stransky from HC Davos and Dominik Kubalik from EV Zug as well as defenseman Jan Rutta from Genève-Servette. The Latvian squad includes forward Rudolfs Balcers from the ZSC Lions.
Like Canada and France, the Czech Republic will be Switzerland's opponents in the group phase in Milan.
