Stefan Küng pulls out of the Tour de France before the third-to-last stage.
The 30-year-old Swiss rider from the Groupama-FDJ team decided not to start the stage from Embrun to Isola 2000. No reasons were given as to why Küng withdrew from his eighth Tour de France two days before the final time trial to Nice.
The rider from Thurgau will compete at the Summer Olympics in Paris. The time trial will take place there on Saturday, July 27.
