The managers of Genève-Servette HC have decided on their future coach. Starting next season, the Swede Sam Hallam will be in charge.
The 46-year-old Hallam has signed a three-season contract with the Grenat. He has been working as a national coach in his home country for a good three years and will also coach the team at the Olympic Games in Milan-Cortina and at the World Championships in Switzerland this season.
Hallam's most successful club coaching career was with the Växjö Lakers, which he led to three championship titles (2015, 2018, 2021).
Genève-Servette will finish the current season with its current coaching staff under the leadership of Finn Ville Peltonen, as the club has also announced. Peltonen took over as head coach just over a week ago following the resignation of Frenchman Yorick Treille.
