HC Thurgau will continue to play with two Swedish forwards in the upcoming Swiss League season.

The 33-year-old Victor Backman will replace his compatriot David Lindquist for the playoff semi-finalists.

Backman has been under contract with the GCK Lions for the past seven years, with a one-season break with Malmö, and also made a few appearances in the National League with the ZSC Lions.
