Three of the four Swiss ski jumpers show a convincing qualification for the World Championships from the small hill in Trondheim. The best was Killian Peier in fourth place.
Gregor Deschwanden, who has already finished on the podium four times in the World Cup this season, came ninth. World Cup newcomer Yanick Wasser stood the third longest jump (105 m) in optimal wind conditions and ranked 12th. The inrun was then shortened.
Simon Ammann, who is competing in his 13th World Championships, was the fourth Swiss athlete to qualify for Sunday's competition (17:00) with 50 jumpers in 45th place.
The qualification was won by local Johann André Forfang.
