The Swiss curlers led by skip Silvana Tirinzoni will play for the title at the World Championships in Uijeongbu in South Korea after beating China 4:2. The opponents have not yet been decided.

Victory was in the balance in the tenth and final end. If Alina Pätz had not played her last stone absolutely perfectly, the Chinese would have at least written a house of two and won. Selina Witschonke, Carole Howald, Silvana Tirinzoni and Alina Pätz therefore cheered exuberantly.
The women of CC Aarau made it to their sixth final in a row at a World Championships - before last year's silver medal, they had won gold four times in a row.
