Kälin and Paris - a perfect match: At the Summer Olympics, the 24-year-old from Graubünden set a Swiss record in the heptathlon with fourth place and 6,639 points. Now, in Paris, she has once again shown that she also belongs to the extended world class in the long jump. The 6.77 m not only meant a Swiss record and winning the competition, but also 5th place in the current world best list.

Kälin also impressed with a consistent series. She jumped at least 6.69 m in four out of six attempts. Kälin had already achieved the limit for the European Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn (NED) at the beginning of March last season.
