The quartet was eliminated from the 770,000 dollar competition in Ocala in the US state of Florida.
Edouard Schmitz in the saddle on Quno and Janika Sprunger with Orelie had to give up after difficulties in the triple combination. This meant that Switzerland was disqualified and the other pairs, Géraldine Straumann with Long John Silver plus Romain Duguet on Hunger Games, were no longer able to compete.
After two of four stops in the Nations Cup series, Switzerland is under pressure if it wants to qualify for the final in Barcelona in the fall. The competitions in Rotterdam and St. Tropez are still to come.
