The New Jersey Devils with Nico Hischier, Timo Meier and Jonas Siegenthaler win against the Vancouver Canucks in the NHL on Friday evening local time. Tampa Bay Lightning with Janis Moser also wins.
The New Jersey Devils celebrated their third win in a row and their fourth in the last five games on Saturday night Swiss time. The team with Nico Hischier, Timo Meier and Jonas Siegenthaler beat the Vancouver Canucks 5-4 on the road.
All three Swiss players were successful. Hischier scored in overtime to make it 2-0 and record his 16th goal of the season. He was also one of the assists on the goal that made it 4-2. Siegenthaler and Meier were also among the assist providers with one goal each.
Like the Devils, Janis Moser was also able to celebrate a win with the Tampa Bay Lightning. However, the Swiss player failed to score in the 2-1 penalty shootout win against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Goalie Akira Schmid did not play in his Vegas Golden Knights' game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. With Adin Hill in goal, the Golden Knights ultimately won 6:3.
