After winning the World Championship title on Sunday in Ostrava, Czech Republic, the Swiss women's floorball players will be welcomed in Kloten on Monday afternoon.

At around 6 p.m. on Sunday, the Swiss floorball players' fairytale was complete. In the final match against the hosts in the Czech Republic, they secured their second World Championship title since 2005.
Now, on Monday afternoon, less than 24 hours after their historic success, the team was welcomed by more than 100 people in Kloten.
The players were brought onto the stage one by one and duly celebrated by floorball fans, friends and families before Daniel Bareiss, Central President of the Swiss Floorball Association, gave a speech.
He not only mentioned the performance of the world champions, but also praised the team's fair play. A performance by the "Stubete Gäng" rounded off the celebration. Immediately after winning the final, the floorball players celebrated and danced to the songs of the Swiss band in the dressing room.
