The Swiss women's handball team lose their last test before the upcoming World Championship. They lost 32:35 to Germany in Göppingen.
The team coached by Knut Ove JoaKnut Ove JoaKnut Ove Joa had already been beaten by the Germans at home in St. Gallen on Thursday. Compared to the 17:35 defeat, however, they played much better in Saturday's game. Switzerland trailed 14:19 at the break and were even able to reduce the five-goal deficit by two goals.
On November 27, the Swiss start their first ever world championship in 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands.
