The Swiss women's national ice hockey team finished the international tournament in Finland as part of the Euro Hockey Tour with a second defeat. Coach Colin Muller's team lost to Sweden 2:5 in the third game in Hämeenlinna.
After three undefeated duels this year (2 wins), the Swiss women were defeated by the Scandinavians this time. They were only able to score when they were outnumbered. Lara Stalder equalized to make it 1:1 in the power play in the opening third, Rahel Enzler reduced the deficit to 2:3 in the middle third.
Before the third matchday in Finland, all teams had the chance to win the four-nation tournament with one win and one defeat each.
