The six matches will take place between October 2025 and April 2026, with the best two teams in the group plus the four best third-placed teams qualifying for the finals in December 2026. The tournament will take place in Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Turkey, making it the first time that five countries have hosted the tournament.

For now, however, the Swiss will focus on the World Cup play-off against Slovakia. The first leg will take place on April 9 in St. Gallen, the second leg on April 13 in Sala. The winner of the duel will take part in the World Cup in Germany and the Netherlands in November and December. Participation in the World Cup would be a first for the Swiss women.
