The New Zealanders take the next step towards another victory in the America's Cup. Skipper Peter Burling's team also wins the fourth race against the British boat.
The fourth race was completely evenly matched in the first two of the six sections. The British crew skippered by Sir Ben Ainslie had justified hopes of their first success in this series.
But these hopes did not last long. After the second turn, Team New Zealand was able to pull away slightly and then extend its lead to a reassuring size. The New Zealanders crossed the finish line 23 seconds ahead.
Burling and his colleagues need three more wins to secure the oldest trophy in the sporting world for the third time in a row. The next two races are scheduled for Wednesday.
