Letsile Tebogo wins the 200 m final. The sprinter from Botswana, third in the 2023 World Championships, beats the big favorite Noah Lyles, who was aiming for a double after winning gold in the 100 m.
The three-time world champion from the USA had to settle for bronze in the Stade de France. Lyles' compatriot Kenneth Bednarek secured silver.
Tebogo dominated the final and distanced the competition by 16 hundredths and more. The 21-year-old finished in a time of 19.46 seconds. Only four people have completed the 200 m faster.
