On Thursday, Swiss Olympic selected a further 64 athletes for the Olympic Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo (February 6-22).
The selection committee nominated five biathletes each. The Swiss team is led by Amy Baserga and Niklas Hartweg. Both will be taking part in the Olympic Games for the second time.
In figure skating, Kimmy Repond, Livia Kaiser and Lukas Britschgi will represent the Swiss colors in Milan-Cortina 2026, in speed skating Ramona Härdi, Kaitlyn McGregor and Livio Wenger. This will be Wenger's third participation in the Winter Games.
Swiss Olympic has also confirmed the men's and women's ice hockey teams that Swiss Ice Hockey announced just over two weeks ago. This means that 79 athletes are now part of the Swiss Olympic team for the 25th Winter Games.
Further selections will be announced by the beginning of next week, including those in alpine skiing. Selections are also still pending in bobsleigh, cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboarding and ski jumping.
