The decision was already made at the start. The New Zealanders fell off the foils after a gybe. By the time they got the yacht back into flying mode, the British were already over a kilometer away.
A second regatta is scheduled for Wednesday. Defending champions New Zealand still seem to have all the advantages in their hands.
