Marc Marquez remains the measure of all things in this MotoGP season. The 32-year-old Spaniard triumphed ahead of his brother Alex Marquez at the Argentinian GP, as he did at the season opener in Thailand.

Four laps before the end of the race, Marc Marquez set off on an overtaking maneuver on the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, finishing almost 1.5 seconds ahead of his brother, who is three years younger.
Eight-time world champion Marc Marquez now has 90 GP victories to his name, 64 of them in the premier class, putting him on a par with his compatriot Angel Nieto, who died in 2017 as a result of a quad bike accident.
Franco Morbidelli completed the MotoGP podium in Argentina in third place. The Italian finished in the top three for the first time since May 2021, when the former Moto2 World Champion finished third in Jerez.
Last year's World Championship runner-up Francesco Bagnaia - like the Marquez brothers and Morbidelli on a Ducati motorcycle - had to settle for 4th place. The Italian is already 31 points behind world championship leader Marc Marquez in third place in the overall standings.
