The popularity of the National League qualifiers remains unchanged. Once again, over 2.68 million fans watched the 364 matches in the stadiums.
On average, 7367 spectators watched the games on site. This corresponds to a minimal increase of two people compared to the previous season's record.
SC Bern once again recorded the highest average attendance. An average of 15,505 fans watched the 26 home games in the PostFinance Arena. However, the ambitious team from Bern, who want to secure a place in the play-off quarter-finals via the play-in, also recorded the second-highest decline of all 14 clubs with a drop of 316. Only Kloten fared worse in this respect with a drop of 372.
Meanwhile, half of the league was able to enjoy rising spectator numbers. These include the ZSC Lions (+23), Lausanne (+287) and Fribourg-Gottéron (+150), the clubs that occupy 2nd to 4th place in the attendance statistics behind the SCB. The biggest increase was recorded by Lugano, with an increase of 393 fans per game. Qualification winners Davos also reported a significant increase with a rise of 223 spectators.
