The Swiss ice hockey players lose the first game of the three-country tournament in Liberec in the Czech Republic 1:3 against Finland.

The team of national coach Colin Muller was already trailing 0:3 after 28 minutes. It was not until 48 seconds before the end that Lena Lutz from EV Zug scored the consolation goal.

It was the ninth defeat in a row for the Swiss women's national team. The last victory dates back to last August, when the Czech Republic were beaten 2:1 on penalties. The hosts are also Switzerland's second opponents on Saturday.
