For the fifth time in a row, the USA and Canada face each other in the final of the Women's Ice Hockey World Championship. The 2025 event in České Budějovice in the Czech Republic will be won by the Americans, as in 2023.

The USA beat the record champions Canada 4:3 n.V.. They thus secured their 11th title. Canada has won gold 13 times in the 24 World Championship tournaments to date. Bronze went to Finland. The Swiss finished the tournament in 5th place.
