Whether Therese Johaug will continue her career remains to be seen. The 36-year-old had returned from retirement especially for this season with the home World Championships in Trondheim.
Nadja Kälin finished in 10th place. 23-year-old Kälin finished directly behind the American Jessie Diggins, who secured the overall World Cup. Nadine Fähndrich finished in 18th place.
Three mistakes at the end
Biathlon - Lena Häcki-Gross missed out on a top ranking in the mass start in Oslo, which she won a year ago and reaffirmed her ambitions with third place in the pursuit on Saturday, only in the last shooting.
