The SCL Tigers will have to make do without top scorer Flavio Schmutz for the first few months of the new National League season.
As the Emmental club announced, the 31-year-old forward suffered a hand fracture in training. Schmutz will undergo surgery in the coming week and is expected to be out for ten to twelve weeks.
With 23 points, the Thurgau native was Langnau's second-best Swiss scorer last season.
