Michal Kristof will not be available for the SCL Tigers in the playoffs. According to a statement from Langnau, the Slovakian forward will miss around six weeks due to a knee injury.
Kristof suffered the injury last Thursday in the play-in game in Kloten, when he twisted his right knee after a check from Kloten's Tyler Morley. Since his signing in mid-October, the 31-year-old center has appeared in 28 games with the Tigers, recording 3 goals and 5 assists.
The SCL Tigers will face qualifying winners Lausanne or defending champions ZSC Lions in the playoff quarterfinals starting on Thursday.
