Moser won the Oberaargau festival for the second time in a row. He celebrated his fifth victory at a wreath festival.

In the final round between the two 21-year-olds, the decision was made after two and a half minutes. Moser threw Hiltbrunner into the sawdust with a short bib and pushed him onto his shoulder blades on the ground. In the fifth round, Michael Moser, the winner of two partial association festivals last season (Nordostschweiz, Berner Kantonales), also defeated Curdin Orlik for the first time.
