Swiss national ice hockey player Nicole Vallario makes her first appearance in the 3rd round of the North American Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) - and scores a goal straight away.

It took Nicole Vallario just four minutes to make a lasting impression for the New York Sirens. The defenseman opened the scoring in the 5:1 home win against Vancouver with the 1:0.
Vallario, from Ticino, is the second Swiss woman to play in the top professional league. Pioneer Alina Müller also had a successful Saturday. In the Boston Fleet's 3-1 win, she scored the final goal with a shot into the empty net.
