"I would never have dreamed of this, it's something very special," said van der Poel, who is still unbeaten in cyclo-cross this season. The 30-year-old dominated the race from A to Z and distanced Wout Van Aert by 45 seconds. Bronze went to another Belgian, Thibau Nys. The best Swiss rider was 26-year-old Kevin Kunz in 16th place.
