HC Davos is no longer flying through the National League as untouchable as it was a few weeks ago, after all, the Grisons had lost three of their last four games until Sunday. Against EV Zug, however, Josh Holden's team once again showed how much potential it has.

Young Beni Waidacher put the HCD in front in the seventh minute. It was the first ever goal in the National League for the 19-year-old winger, who came through the Davos junior ranks. Tino Kessler and Michael Fora made it clear before half-time. Grégory Hofmann was able to reduce the deficit for Zug shortly afterwards, but that was as good as it got for the Central Swiss side in the Landwasser Valley. Simon Knak and Matej Stransky scored into the empty net in the final period. It was the first defeat for Michael Liniger's team after two wins in a row.
