Andy Murray will not be able to take part in the Grand Slam tournament in Wimbledon starting on July 1. The Scot has been forced to withdraw after back surgery.
According to information from the players' organization ATP, the operation was necessary due to a cyst on his spine.
The 37-year-old Murray has won the grass-court classic in south-west London twice, eleven and eight years ago. Twelve years ago, he also became Olympic champion at Wimbledon after beating Roger Federer in the final.
