The Washington Wizards are once again on the losing side in the NBA against the Los Angeles Lakers. The team from the capital lost 101:120 in California.
Although Kyshawn George made it back onto the scoresheet after a lengthy absence due to a tendon injury to his left elbow, he did not yet get to play. The Canadian from Valais has now missed 15 of his team's games since the beginning of March.
The Wizards, together with the Indiana Pacers the worst team in terms of points this regular season, suffered their 19th defeat in the last 20 games. There has been nothing to gain against the Lakers for a long time. The Wizards lost for the eighth time in a row this season.
For their part, the Lakers, the current No. 3 in the West, are on a high. They won for the third time in a row and for the twelfth time in the last 13 games.
