She crashed heavily at the World Cup final in Tignes last week. She has now announced her withdrawal on Instagram. Nothing is broken, but she is suffering from severe bruising and a concussion.

The 23-year-old Ledeux would have been one of the top favorites. The 2022 Olympic silver medalist would have been the defending champion in the big air, she was world champion in slopestyle in 2017 and is the winner of this year's overall World Cup.

This means that the Swiss medal contenders Mathilde Gremaud and Sarah Höfflin have one less serious competitor.
