The 22-year-old Brit is thus crowning her run of success: she won bronze in Aspen in 2021, silver in Bakuriani in 2023 and now gold at Corvatsch.

Zoe Atkin was in a league of her own with Li Fanghui, who is the same age. In the end, the Chinese skier narrowly lost out with 93:93.5 points.

In halfpipe ski freestyle, Switzerland is currently not keeping up with the world's best nations. There were four Chinese, four Canadians, two Americans, one New Zealander and one Brit - who grew up in the USA - in the women's twelve-strong final.

Zoe Atkin is the younger sister of Isabel (Izzy) Atkin, who won Olympic bronze in slopestyle in 2018 and therefore stood on the podium in Pyeongchang alongside winner Sarah Höfflin and runner-up Mathilde Gremaud.
