ZSC with the third mini victory against their favorite opponent

It took until the final period before the Lions from Zurich showed their teeth for the first time. Derek Grant equalized the SCL lead in the 47th minute, and five minutes later Santtu Kinnunen scored for the ultimately decisive lead.

This meant that a small success for the Emmental side remained a side note: the SCL Tigers had to wait 155 minutes and 55 seconds before they scored their first goal of the season against the champions. Then Pascal Berger scored after a rebound off ZSC goalie Robin Zumbühl to make it 1-0 for the Emmentalers with his first goal ever this season.
