Dutch international Xavi Simons will be cheering in London instead of Leipzig in future

The Bundesliga loses another top player to the Premier League. Leipzig and Tottenham Hotspur have agreed on a transfer for Dutch midfield star Xavi Simons.
He has signed a long-term contract and will be given the shirt number 7, the Europa League winners Tottenham announced.
According to media reports, a transfer fee of around 60 million euros will be paid to the East German club. The attacking player, in whom German record champions Bayern Munich are also said to have shown an interest, scored 22 goals and provided 24 assists in 78 competitive matches for Leipzig.
