Grande notte per The Weeknd agli iHeart Music Awards. Al Dolby Theater di Los Angeles, il rapper ha conquistato ben tre premi, tra cui Migliore Artista Maschile e Migliore Canzone dell’anno per «Blinding Lights».

L’artista ha aperto lo show esibendosi in «Save Your Tears», al fianco di Ariana Grande.

The Weeknd si è inoltre aggiudicato il titolo di TikTok Bop of the Year.

Tre statuette anche Roddy Ricch e Christian Nodal, rispettivamente nelle categorie hip hop e nei premi locali per gli artisti messicani.

Gloria per i BTS: Miglior fan army e Miglior Video musicale per «Dynamite».

Dua Lipa è stata eletta Migliore Artista femminile dell’anno, mentre Taylor Swift si è aggiudicata il titolo di Miglior Album Pop per «Folklore».

Durante la cerimonia si sono esibiti Silk Sonic, Dan + Shay, Doja Cat, Demi Lovato, Brandi Carlile e H.E.R, offrendo un tributo a Elton John, eletto iHeartRadio Icon Award.
