Rapper Kanye West had asked for permission to use part of a live performance of the Black Sabbath classic "Iron Man" without vocals, the British rock musician wrote on the online platforms X and Instagram.

West was denied permission "because he is an anti-Semite and has caused many people unspeakable heartache".

Nevertheless, the US musician made use of it at an event to mark the release of an album this week.

"I don't want to be associated with that man!" raged Osbourne.

West initially did not respond to the accusations on his social media accounts.

Guitar riff can be heard in "Carnival"

Rolling Stone " reported that the guitar riff from "Iron Man" can be heard in West's song "Carnival". Online recordings of the event criticized by Osbourne also showed this.

Kanye West, who has long called himself Ye, has repeatedly made anti-Semitic remarks in recent years.

He asked for forgiveness for this at Christmas. "I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintentional outburst of anger caused by my words or actions," the rapper wrote in Hebrew on Instagram at the time.

It had not been his intention to hurt or degrade people and he regretted any pain he had caused.

Sharon Osbourne considers legal action

According to Rolling Stone, Ozzy Osbourne's wife and manager Sharon Osbourne is considering suing Ye over the song lament.
