Gölä is planning his own three-day festival in Buochs NW in early summer 2024. The Bernese Oberlander will be celebrating his 25th anniversary on stage and wants to really let it rip.

  • Gölä celebrates his 25th stage anniversary in 2024.
  • The Bernese Oberlander is therefore organizing the Earthbeat Festival at the airfield in Buochs NW.
  • Among other things, fans can vote on which songs the Swiss folk musician should play.

Buochs airfield has to prepare for countless fans: From June 7 to 9, 2024, the Bernese musician Gölä is inviting people to party there.

The Earthbeat Festival is set to be a huge open air event, as the 55-year-old told Blick. He has often seen the location in passing:

"Buochs is in the heart of Switzerland. What could be better for my stage anniversary than this place?"

The planning was also easier than he first thought: "I've never had such uncomplicated authorities and helpful people as here in Nidwalden," says the musician from Bern.

He has been planning and organizing for two years - and has deliberately kept this secret from the public until now.

"Going one better" after the "Büetzer Buebe"

Gölä has also let a little bit of the festival's content leak out. On the Friday of the festival, for example, the fans will decide which songs will be played: "I'm working on letting my fans vote on the song selection via an online tool."

More Swiss acts will also be performing on Saturday. Sunday alone still offers room for surprises: "The day will be rustic."

Gölä came up with the idea of his own festival because he asked himself what he could still offer his fans - after a quarter of a century on stage.

But it was also the urge to "go one better" after the "Büetzer Buebe ".

Tickets for the Earthbeat Festival are available from December 5 at Ticketcorner and on the official website.
