Egli even toyed with the idea of entering the fashion industry - only if music didn't work out, of course. She wanted to create clothes for "women with curves":
"It's something I really like because I didn't have such an easy time finding fashion myself," says the 35-year-old. "I can really empathize with what it's like for women who have a bit of curves."
Love rumors with Florian Silbereisen
Nevertheless, Beatrice Egli is not a completely open book in the RTL interview: she doesn't really want to comment on the love rumors with fellow pop star Silbereisen.
They have known each other for over ten years and got to know each other during the pandemic - in Silbereisen's show "Schlagerbooom Open Air".
The media then jumped on these rumors, which Egli and Silbereisen took advantage of: "At some point we realized that we had already done so much together, including singing. But we never had a song together. The speculation about us wrote this song."
Beatrice Egli openly admits that she enjoys fueling this speculation. "Fun is part of music, fun is part of entertainment. This fun connects us."
When RTL asks whether it's really just speculation, the pop singer replies with a grin: "Only we know that."
