Piero Esteriore is back on the big music stage. The former "Musicstar" contestant disappeared from the scene for a long time, but now he's back. Together with his three brothers, he thrills millions on TV and tours the world.

The Esteriore Brothers achieved their breakthrough with a cappella songs on Tiktok, Piero said in an interview with the Sonntagszeitung newspaper. The Basel-based quartet's videos have been clicked on over 500 million times. This was followed by a tour in Australia and appearances in New York and Dubai.

Piero, Mimmo, Gabriele and Amedeo's secret recipe is Italian classics, such as "Sarà perché ti amo" by Richi e Poveri from 1981, it continued. Their Italianità even brought the Esteriores into television shows. They appeared on the Beatrice Egli Show in November and on Florian Silbereisen's Schlagerchampions 2024 show on Saturday evening.

In Switzerland, the four brothers from Laufental were previously rather unknown. Piero Esteriore was in the spotlight again and again a good 20 years ago. The trained hairdresser came third in the Swiss casting show "Musicstar" in 2004 and represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest in the same year. In 2007, the now 46-year-old crashed his car into the Ringier building. He did so out of frustration at allegedly insulting criticism from the media company, after which he rarely appeared in public.
